How It All Began
The summer following Dale Phillips's graduation from Southwest Baptist College, while touring with a group from that school, he first saw how effective the dramatic arts could be in communicating the dynamic truths revealed in the Bible.
Through the years a growing tool of Dale's ministry was the communication of truth through a host of characters that he brings to life using puppets and props from his "toolbox". He discovered that these characters were a wonderful way of delivering a message to a wide age range of people. Dale has had opportunities to share, utilizing the dramatic arts, in a variety of settings. Some of those include church services, camps, conferences, public and private schools, prisons, home fellowship groups, college campuses, retreats, care homes and alcohol treatment centers.
In the early spring of 2002, Dale became convinced that the Lord desired him to move what had been a side light of his ministry to it's main focus. Keystone Baptist church, where Dale pastored for 23 years, confirmed him in this by commissioning him to this new ministry. Thus, CareActor Inc. came into being by incorperating in the early summer 2002 and as Dale offically stepped away from pastoring and into this ministry venture September 1. 2002.
